My husband and I are full time RVer's and we are visiting the Marquette area for 3 days. Yesterday I started experiencing significant neck and shoulder pain and knew that I needed a massage. I found the listing for The Spa of Marquette when I did a google search. This morning when I called hoping to be able to get an appt. I was told the therapist had one opening later in the day. I took the appt and asked about adding hot stone therapy, but was told that the therapist had back to back appts and wouldn't be able to get the stones ready. I said that was fine. A few mins later, Mary, the Massage Therapist, called me back to let me know that if I could come 30 mins later, it would give her time to set the hot stones up. I agreed. Typically I get a 90 min. massage every 2 wks, but when we are on the road I usually don't get massages, unless I get in trouble. I did my best to relieve the muscle tension myself but couldn't do it. When I arrived for my appt., Mary greeted me warmly and then she gave me one of the best massages ever! When I was checking out, I was pleasantly surprised that my massage was only $60! We probaby won't be back in Marquette again, but I wanted to submit a review to tell others about my experience. I always have excellent massages here. The owner is a professional, capable of healing my aches & pains and alleviating my stress load. I leave here grateful every time, typically in a fuzzy haze...which is what I want! The Spa is modern, clean, peaceful and designed well. I highly recommend Kathy although she's in high demand so schedule in advance.
