For the real estate part of the business, you will not find a better staff of realtors led by Steve Pelto. I used them to sell my house when other realtors in town kept making false promises and wasting my time. Steve gets it done!
Would never ever rent with them again.
Very disappointed with my experience, would not recommend. Recently moved out of my apartment and was nickle-and-dimed during checkout. I was expected to cover items that weren't included in my initial lease, and spent 6 hours with my family cleaning every inch of the apartment, yet was still charged for absurd cleaning fees upon move out. It was expected I leave it spotless, yet it was dirty when I moved in. Was charged for general wear-and-tear around the apartment, like the outlines of the picture frames I hung on the walls and other "marks." The realtors that I worked with during my stay were pleasant, but the ridiculousness of the landlord's cleaning charges left a sour taste in my mouth.
The rental side of the business is geared mostly towards college students. These apartments are of great quality for student apartments. They do a great job at their price point.
Look Reality is a fantastic business. To be clear it is at least 2 businesses.
They have realtively cheap buildings near campus. Thats about where the positives stop. Look Realy doesn't maintain their buildings well inside or out. But then again how could they when their seemingly only maintance guy for all their properties is a meth addict who runs to get "supplies" every couple hours. If the building does have laundry use it only as a last resort. The dryers don't work and despite multiple work orders and personal requests they all but refuse to acknowledge their existance. In the winter while they do plow the lot they fine you $25 if you don't move your car (by the time the lease states, ours was 8am).The plow gets called out everytime it snows 2+ inches which at points is almost daily and it's up to you to guess. Look will take as much money from you at every opportunity. Before you move in, they nickel and dime you the entirety of your time there, and especially when you move out. They primarily rent to college students who they know don't have the resources to fight with them and will only be there for one or two years. If you do decide to rent through them be prepared to shell out and be frustruated.
As for the staff, the ladies in the front office are always helpful, kind, and friendly. I also see people attacking the maintenance workers. These reviewers are abusing this rating system to attack one individual. REAL MATURE. I actually know him and he is a good, clean guy just trying to do his job. I would highly recommend you give this staff a chance. You won't be disappointed.
