Example osmosis water was $0.50 a gallon. It is 0.27 at Walmart. Walmart is a for profit store. The co-op is not for profit. Come to your own conclusions.
Love having a local food co-op in town. I had it on our list as one of the requirements for a place to retire. It's my primary stop to get quality & local food.
Fantastic co-op! Excellent bulk selection, local produce and dairy/meat. The cheese counter is an amazing temptress as are the baked goods (vegan sugar cookies, anyone?). If you shop carefully, some of the produce (local & organic) can be cheaper than the regular grocery store. Helpful staff and all the great co-op smell and charm.
Not a good value. Not my kind of store. Bulk area is great food you can't get any where else
Great place if you're looking to buy local produce and organic/whole food. However, if you're looking for a bargin this isn't the place to shop. You'll definetly spend a pretty penny here.
Was the place of a grocery store that was there for decades. But they changed the inside totally for a fresh look. And there are vegetarian and vegan foods and made in house bakery items. I would say it is half regular food and half specialized food ( vege, vegan, gluten free, organic).
