Honesty is always the best policy. Was promised a pack and play for a baby with reservations months in advance. Arrived and was told they were "illegal" in Michigan. Baby slept in empty suitcase just fine. Everything was clean and in order otherwise. Coming here with a small child, not a "good" idea. BTW, the 6 other night stays within Michigan, we were supplied a pack and play illegally...... thankfully.
Wedding g was very nice that I attended. Main bar area is beautiful. Main floor bathrooms need updating.
The Ramada Inn of Marquette is superb! My fiance and I had been camping in the Au Train area during the middle of June, and it rained the entire weekend. We decided to head out earlier than planned and to find a hotel for the rest of the day and over night. Every place we called said they did not have a room readily available (it was only 1030 in the morning, so no hard feelings to the other places). When we pulled in to the Ramada, I had asked if they had a room available, and they did! We happily took the room. It was a beautiful room, well cleaned and stocked. During the night my fiance became ill with food poisoning, and so I had asked if we were able to stay another night. They were happy to help us out and got to stay another night. Great customer service!
Housekeeping was very good. Comfortable room, pleasant staff. The restaurant was hit or miss. Some of the food was good, some I couldn’t even finish because it was poorly done.
I've stayed at this Ramada multiple times and have always been satisfied. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating, from extra pillows and towels to roll-always, they've always been happy to make my stay the best it could be. The location is perfect for exploring the downtown area and all the local bars and breweries marquette has to offer.
