So he likes to say when we're deciding where to go "How about Jeffrey's ?" He knows it makes me snarl. I'll say, "Sounds great. You know how I love waiting 40 minutes for a table and another 40 minutes for stone cold food. Oh, and paying more for it too!" We laugh it off, and go to the ever so faithful Coachlight restaurant.
My boyfriend and I have this joke. We're breakfast people, so we have been to almost everywhere around Marquette in search of our coffee and morning substance.
The food was good. Standard american diner fair, plenty of options. The portions were big and the prices middle of the road. My only complaint was they are on the slow side. There was only 4 tables there including our group of 5 and it took an hour and a half. I recommend just not if your in a rush.
We have been going here for about seven or eight years. The past couple of years, we have only had bad experiences. One time we found a rock in our food while another we waited an hour for our meal. Additionally, the manager didn’t apologize or offer some sort of compensation. Rather, just agreed with our frustration. The waitress was also the rudest waitress that has ever served me (at any restaurant). Typically I do not complain, nor write bad reviews, but the experience was horrendous. As previously stated, we have been going to Jeffery’s for 8+ years. We will never be coming back again.
Great place! I wish the bacon was less crispy, and the syrup was not extra, but these are not real complaints. Great service, delicious food.
This is the first rating I have provided on a restaurant. The service was very poor and the wait was extremely long. The waitress acted like it was a bother to serve us our food and she ignored us during our 45 minute wait for the food. When we asked why it took so long, they said they were busy, yet the restaurant was half full and other people who came in near the same time were served their food while we waited. We will find another place to go for breakfast in the future.
