Staff are well versed in their departments, and are always eager to help. Store has always been clean and pleasant. Checkout is quick and efficient
Great stuff, but they need to sell individual sparpies like they do with the Prisma colors. It took me forever to find the markers I was looking for, and Michael's being my last resort, didn't have any of them. Matteboard is all tattered at the corners. You are better off getting some from the NMU bookstore.
Really nice place for Art lovers....can almost find all the things you need weather water color, oil, canvas or acrylic.
I am not a fan of the store experience at Michael's. I am not a fan of Michael's over all. Seems to have the company culture that is unconcerned about the customer experience/satisfaction if it will cost them something. Beware, cell service is fine but for some reason it's pretty impossible to get the Michael's site and coupons while in this store/parking lot. Make sure you pull everything you will need up before you get here.
Michaels has a surprisingly broad selection of Arts and Crafts supplies. I am impressed with the variety and quality of their acrylic and waterpainting supplies selections & the frames & framing options available. I also enjoy the scrapbook & stamp sections.
