An absolutely dreadful experience!!! After Smith screwed up paving the road in front of my house (every time it rains, there is a massive 40ft puddle that takes days to go away) they were supposed to redo the driveway. They filled in the clean out access so they had to comeback and rip up some of the driveway to fix the problem. They were paid to redo the rest of the driveway but forgot. So they had to be called and reminded to do the job. When they finally showed up to do the job, they drove through the back part of the yard and caved in a part of a concrete slab. They also dumped some of the mix in the yard, so now i have concrete in the yard. After the snow melted, I noticed that they driveway surface completely chipped off. No joke, the driveway looked like it was gravel. They were informed of this and they said they were "too busy" to fix the problem. So after another summer and winter, they came back and replaced the driveway. They also cut out the caved in portion of the concrete that they destroyed over a year previously, instead of just replacing the entire section. It looks like a cobbled mess. If you want a miserable experience, give Smith a call.
No consideration for personal property, if you hire these guys expect cigarette butts and garbage on your land. They also could care less if you want something done differently then they planned on doing. The old "foreman" is the worst. If you ever have questions they'll refer you to the old fart that just ignores you, or else he's deaf and retarded, not sure.
